Shaul Magid is Professor of Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College and Kogod Senior Research Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America. His many books include Hasidism Incarnate: Hasidism, Christianity, and the Construction of Modern Judaism and From Metaphysics to Midrash: Myth, History, and the Interpretation of Scripture in Lurianic Kabbala. He lives in Thetford, Vermont.
