Julia Kelly is Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester and the author of Art, Ethnography and the Life of Objects, Paris c.1925-1935. Colin Jones is Professor of History at Queen Mary University of London. Among his books is Paris: The Biography of a City. Whitney Chadwick is Professor Emerita of Art History at San Francisco State University. Her many books include Amazons in the Drawing Room: The Art of Romaine Brooks (UC Press) and Women, Art, and Society.
